Who We Are
American Infrastructure is a vertically integrated, heavy civil construction company and material supplier strategically positioned in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our network of regional construction offices, quarries and asphalt plants provides the framework for American Infrastructure to service our customers when and where they need us.
Established as a small hauling company in 1939, the company has grown into a regional leader in the industry, ranked annually in the top three contractors in our market and in the top 150 nationally by Engineering News-Record.
We provide our customers with a full-service solution for site development, transportation, energy, design-build, and water-related projects. With more than 2,000 skilled craftsmen, equipment operators and construction professionals covering six states, we build projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic for private developers, general contractors, DOTs and utilities, local and state governments, and federal military customers. Our position is further strengthened by our bonding capacity of $800 million – allowing us to build projects ranging from $100,000 to more than $100 million on a single project.
American Infrastructure self-performs most of its own work, yielding production efficiencies and control, elevated safety standards and a commitment to safe work operations. Everyone at American Infrastructure understands the company’s fierce dedication to the safety of every person who works here. And our Home Safe Tonight initiative is recognized by customers as an integral part of the American Infrastructure value proposition.
