Who We Are
American Infrastructure is a vertically integrated, heavy civil construction company and material supplier strategically positioned in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our network of regional construction offices, quarries and asphalt plants provide the framework for American Infrastructure to service our customers when and where they need us.
Our roots go back to 1939, when our founders established a local hauling company in the Philadelphia suburbs called Allan A. Myers and Son. Still a family business today, the company operates as Allan A. Myers in Pennsylvania and Delaware, and as American Infrastructure in Maryland and Virginia. Our various quarries and asphalt plants operate as Independence Construction Materials (ICM). Together as American Infrastructure, our network of local operating units and construction materials provide us with the resources to build civil construction projects of all sizes throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Whether your project is a small water transmission line or a complete highway reconstruction, we’ve got you covered. As the largest Heavy Civil Contractor in the Mid-Atlantic, we have the resources ready to build your next project, no matter the size - Better, Faster and Safe.
