| R.G.Griffith's
first opportunity to self-perform blasting occurred at a
residential project in Leesburg, VA. The 55 acre site required
the blasting and removal of 54,915 cubic yards of rock.
In addition to the rock, Griffith moved 391,200 cubic yards
of dirt and installed 9,300 linear feet of sanitary sewer;
3,035 linear feet of storm sewer and 1,400 linear feet of
water main.

R.G.
Griffith. Responsible partners for over 30 years in the development
of Northern Virginia and suburban Washington D.C.
In
1967, when Bob Griffith founded the civil construction company
that bears his name, he brought with him unique qualifications.
As
an Army Corps of Engineers heavy equipment instructor at Fort
Belvoir, Virginia, he had learned as much as anyone about where,
when and how to put equipment to work. On this foundation, he
built a company that earned not only a good reputation, but one
that earned the trust of builders and municipalities throughout
northern Virginia.
Today,
the locally ranked top 5 national homebuilders rely on R.G. Griffith
for much of their site development. And R.G. Griffith is licensed
to operate in all major municipalities in the region for utilities,
storm water, and wastewater construction. Griffith is also prequalified
by the Virginia Department of Transportation. Rely on the people
who know the region and know their work. Rely on Griffith.
