PA Route 309 Reconstruction Project Heads for On-Time Completion
The PA Route 309 highway reconstruction project passed its second year anniversary recently, with all work on schedule for November 2006 completion. Bridge building has comprised much of the work. Shown is the Ft. Washington Avenue bridge, spanning Route 309, one of seven bridges required for the project.
Lyman Run Dam
Takes Shape
Fall of 2006 is the target date for completion of the work at Lyman Run in Potter County, PA. The centerpiece of the project, which was begun in the spring of 2004, is the new dam, which will form a new 40-acre lake. This lake is part of Lyman Run State Park, a popular recreational area in this area of northern Pennsylvania, near the town of Wellsboro.

AI-Maryland Deep Into Greenway
Site Development Project
The ability of American Infrastructure to self-perform nearly all its work results in a competitive advantage in the marketplace, particularly when the project requires specialized skills. Greenway, a residential site development project in Havre de Grace, MD, for a national builder, is just such an example. The 680-home project is much like any other large site job, with excavation, underground utilities, paving, grading and all the other 'normal' operations. The exception here is the requirement that a bridge be built to cross the CSX railroad tracks on the site. Construction has recently begun on the 120Õ span, and will be built by American Infrastructure people using American Infrastructure equipment, providing close control of the work and added value to the owner.
