BETTER
The reputation that American Infrastructure is BETTER at providing
construction services to our customers can be attributed to our
employees. Our employees are dedicated to, and enthusiastic about
the direction of our company and its vision. Every day each employee
helps to build a culture where they feel that they are treated
in an honest and fair manner at all times. Our FAIR TREATMENT
POLICY describes the steps any employee can take if they feel
a work condition or decision affecting them is unfair or unjust.
Our goal is to let our employees know that, by working for American
Infrastructure, they always have a way to openly communicate their
problems, concerns or complaints.
Part
of providing BETTER construction services goes beyond performance
in the field. We also emphasize the Quality of the process we
use to deliver our services. What do we mean by “Quality
of the Process”? To American Infrastructure, it means: How
well do we listen to our customer, how well do we respond to our
customer, how quickly do we respond to our customer, what is the
quality of the response our customer received and finally, what
is the attitude of the person delivering the response.
FASTER
The competitive nature of the construction business dictates that
speed and efficiency are critical to profitable growth. To achieve
this goal requires attention to planning, execution of the plan,
state-of-the-art equipment and the creativity of every employee.
Opportunities to save minutes a day by finding better ways to
estimate, execute a plan or operate a piece of equipment is a
function of dedicated, proud, and well-trained employees.
SAFE
At American Infrastructure, we have a Zero Tolerance for lost-time
incidents. The companies of American Infrastructure typically
self-perform excavation, utility installation, curb, gutter and
paving, bridge and highway construction, water and wastewater
plant construction, quarry mining and stone crushing.
Taken
individually, each one of these activities poses serious potential
for injury. Performing any combination of these activities on
a job site as our employees do every day requires the most stringent
rules and regulations to provide a framework for employee safety.
Every employee is required to adhere to our safety policy and
encouraged to bring to the attention of our safety management
team issues that are not being properly addressed. It is the responsibility
of each employee to see that his fellow employees return to their
families at the end of the day, safe and sound.
